Trainers and coaches face a variety of challenges, the most difficult of which is often engaging a disinterested or distracted audience. In this highly engaging, high-energy session, attendees will learn tips and techniques on how to be a more interactive and dynamic coach and trainer. Having served on board of Association of Talent Development (formerly the American Society of Training and Development), Jan Spence will share her expertise on ways to engage the audience (for both live and virtual environments) and truly make an impact that will be felt long after the session is over. Participants will learn multiple training and coaching techniques, including gamification and emotional intelligence, that will improve audience engagement and participation and how to apply these elements to their own programs. With Jan’s experience speaking to international audiences, she knows to make sure examples, content, and verbiage will translate smoothly across all cultures.
